What changes in Bookniapp 1.0.7
This release focuses on three goals: protecting every booking better, making access smoother for users, and reinforcing overall app stability.
The outcome is a more reliable operation for local businesses and a clearer experience for the customer when they book.
Safer and more consistent bookings
Several critical points of the appointment flow have been hardened to avoid errors and boost confidence:
- Real-time availability validation before confirming, reducing duplicate bookings.
- Alert to the customer if they already have a booking at that same time, with the option to continue if needed.
- Customer bookings updated in real time so changes appear instantly.
- Fixes for cases with null values when a customer has no bookings yet.
Easier access and user account
Bookniapp now makes sign-in with external providers easier and improves recovery flows when something fails.
Forms and messages have also been adjusted so the user understands each step better when changing email or credentials.
- Sign in with Google and Apple.
- Better error handling when social login does not complete.
- Sign-up / sign-in flows with more stable navigation (no lockups when going back).
- Improvements to the profile image from social accounts.
Better day-to-day experience for clients and businesses
The app polishes details that directly impact conversion and daily use, both in bookings and in the business profile.
Multi-device support for notifications has also been strengthened — key when a user has a personal and a work phone.
- New multi-device support per user with notifications delivered to all of them.
- Static map on the business detail screen, opening directly in Google Maps when tapped.
- Services priced at 0 shown as "Free" for clearer commercial display.
- When booking, an unregistered user can start the action and complete login at confirmation without losing form data.
Operational and technical-quality adjustments
Issues detected via technical analysis have been fixed and several profile and settings behaviors have been improved.
This reduces internal friction and leaves a more solid foundation for upcoming releases.
- Fixes for errors detected by static analysis.
- Field and validation improvements on business profiles.
- Time-zone and currency adjustments during signup.
- UI refinement on high-frequency-use screens.
More security control over your account
From this release on, every user can review the devices linked to their account for greater control over active and inactive sessions.
This makes it easier to spot old sessions and keep the account better protected day-to-day.
- Path in the app: Account settings > Security > Devices.
- Visibility of connected devices to improve access control.
- A clear reference to review activity when you use more than one phone or computer.
